Informa Markets and Ipack Ima have announced a strategic alliance to unite their international exhibition portfolios and promote synergies in the packaging and processing industry. The collaboration aims to improve global visibility and expansion in key markets such as the US, India and Europe.

In a newly established partnership, Informa Markets and Informa Ipack Ima their forces. The alliance aims to create a Global platform for companies in the packaging and processing industry to create a new market presence. Both companies are aiming for a broader market presence through joint international advertising measures and increased cross-selling activities. The markets covered include Europe also the USA, India and Turkey.

The aim of the agreement is to expand the international trade fair programme of Informa and Ipack Ima and to offer companies in the food and pharmaceutical industries new growth opportunities. Seminars and conferences on industry-specific topics such as packaging and processing will provide additional expertise. This partnership will enable Ipack Ima to strengthen its position as a global reference point for processing and packaging technologies. Informa will further expand its market penetration in Europe, particularly in France, Germany and Spain.

Fraser Hawkes, Managing Director of Informa Markets, emphasised that the alliance expands the range of trade fairs and can offer customers worldwide more added value.
