With the further development of its research project and development laboratory, Masterpress aims to promote the development of new products and facilitate the testing of sleeve applications and self-adhesive labels.
Masterpress has announced the expansion of its research and development (R&D) laboratory in Białystok, Poland. The company is positioning itself to accelerate the market launch of new, sustainable and recyclable products and materials. This will be achieved by integrating a customised and ultra-modern printing machine, which is used exclusively for research and R&D.

„The expansion of our research and development department is fundamental to us as it reflects our commitment to the continuous improvement of our products and services. The sleeve and labelling industry is constantly evolving and to stay at the forefront of this development we need to use leading technologies, test and develop new products, solutions and materials faster and more effectively.“

Jeroen de Haan, the General Director of Masterpress

The new printing press enables comprehensive research and development activities in various product areas. It enables, test new printing processes on a scale that simulates actual production, without having to wait for a delay in the normal production schedule. Masterpress can therefore significantly accelerate the development of new products and speed up the time to market.

„Thanks to the new R&D printing press, we can act as an agile and effective development partner for our customers by quickly transforming their creative visions into real product samples. This also improves our collaboration with our suppliers, as we can test and evaluate new inks or materials before they come to market.“
