At Fachpack, Südpack and SN Maschinenbau will be jointly demonstrating the new CarbonLite film family live in processing on a standardised horizontal pouch packaging machine.
Both companies want to demonstrate at the SN trade fair stand that the production of a Mono-PE stand-up pouch with integrated PE zipper on a standardised horizontal pouch packaging machine with high efficiency. The practical and stable pouch does not require any aluminium or metallisation.
Südpack has recently combined and further developed its tubular bag films from the top PureLine series in the new CarbonLite product family. For a guaranteed shelf life and full enjoyment right down to the last crumb the PE and also the PP-based monostructures for packaging a wide variety of snacks, such as nut mixes, grated cheese, salami sticks or dog treats, with the required oxygen and water vapour barrier, UV protection and anti-fog properties, just like conventional film structures.
The mono material, which is generally more difficult to process, also fulfils all expectations in terms of performance. Because, as can be seen live at Fachpack, it can with consistent output quantities and process and packaging reliability can be easily processed on a standard packaging machine. Its high thermal resistance also ensures that opening aids and reclosure systems can be sealed reliably.
The stand-up pouches are produced on a horizontal pouch packaging machine (HFFS) type FME 50 from SN Maschinenbau. The machine model is a simple, flexible and powerful pouch packaging machine from the Economic series. It is suitable for almost all dry product applications in the food sector - and also impresses with its ease of use and quick and largely tool-free format changeover in under 15 minutes.
