This year's FachPack presentation by SÜDPACK will also be dedicated to the theme of sustainability. The high-performance film specialist was one of the first manufacturers to consistently focus on the development of sustainable film solutions, particularly for the food, medical and non-food industries. As part of its sustainability roadmap, SÜDPACK is gradually expanding its portfolio of products and services.

One focus of the trade fair will be recyclable monomaterials from the Pure Line product family which are also intended to be pioneering in terms of material efficiency. The Pure Line includes solutions made of PP, PE and PET, which are categorised as recyclable in many countries. The material structures can be designed to meet the requirements of a wide range of applications. The spectrum ranges from thermoforming films to lidding films or high-barrier films for the production of stand-up pouches.

SÜDPACK is also expecting a high level of visitor interest in its Multipeel reclosure systems. These are an important packaging concept for sliced sausage, ham and cheese in particular, as they not only offer maximum convenience for the consumer, but also help to extend the shelf life of food products and therefore reduce food waste. The tried-and-tested Multipeel product family has now been expanded to include recyclable structures in order to fulfil market requirements for recyclable packaging concepts in this area too.

Last but not least SÜDPACK different facets of the implementation of a new Circular economy for flexible packaging. The film manufacturer is working intensively on the further development of concepts that help to close cycles and thus minimise the use of fossil raw materials in film production.
