The bio-based hotmelt from Detmold-based adhesive manufacturer Jowat has been awarded the DIN CERTCO certificate for products with a proven minimum proportion of bio-based raw materials.

Clean processing and a high bio-based content - these are the hallmarks of the new, high-performance Jowatherm GROW product family. Through its high proportion of renewable raw materials and its processing temperature as low as 120 degrees Celsius the Jowatherm GROW 853.20 adhesive enables efficient and resource-saving packaging processes in the food industry. Its high thermal stability and precise thread breakage behaviour mean that this innovative hotmelt can be processed very cleanly.

Jowatherm GROW 853.20 has now been certified by DIN CERTCO for the first time and due to its demonstrably high biobased content with the Label „DIN-Geprüft biobased“ labelled. This makes it the ideal partner for companies that want to significantly and verifiably reduce the use of fossil raw materials in their packaging processes.
