Sustainable solid cardboard blister packs

At Fachpack, Illig Maschinenbau will be showcasing its latest packaging system from the HSU 35b series and demonstrating on site how the flexible production of sustainable solid board blisters made from recycled cardboard with different designs and contents is possible on just one packaging system.

The packaging system can be used for the production of blister packs made of Cardboard-plastic-cardboard combinations (double card blister) or solid cardboard can be used. Non-food products and items from the medical technology sector can be attractively presented at the PoS.

Illig has designed the HSU 35b for variable blister heights. It can be configured with three, six, eight, ten or twelve transport pallets for every application. The packaging system can be customised with numerous equipment features to suit the individual requirements of the packaging manufacturers products. Examples include automatic product feeding, product presence monitoring, inlay (product fixation in the blister), inserts for brochures, various labelling systems, code readers and blister ejectors.
