Theegarten-Pactec is offering a revised version of its Cut&Wrap machine for packaging lollipops in Top Twist. The first Cut&Wrap machine of the revised EW7 was delivered to a confectionery manufacturer in Malaysia last year.
The Moulding, cutting and packaging machine EW7 packs soft caramels such as toffees and chewy sweets with lollipop sticks in Top Twist. This type of machine was already part of the company's programme. Due to the growing demand in Asia and South America, the specialist for packaging small confectionery pieces has now completely overhauled the machine and brought it up to the latest state of the art both electronically and mechanically.
„We see great market potential in the Top Twist folding type from Lollipops, particularly in Asia and South America,“ explains Markus Rustler, Managing Director of Theegarten Pactec, explains the decision in favour of a new edition of the tried-and-tested Cut&Wrap machine.
The most important innovation was the Integration of a servo-driven packaging removal system. In addition to exact cut-off accuracy of the packaging material and simple adjustment during format changes, this also ensures precise centring of the print image.
Convenient operation
The EW7 complies with all applicable Safety standards the machine guidelines: All product-carrying parts are Food-safe in corrosion-resistant stainless steel design. This provides the machine with increased protection against rust and dirt. In addition, Theegarten-Pactec equipped the system with a modern machine control system and also implemented the company's proven gear concepts for the reliable transmission of mechanical movements in the new EW7. Fully automatic operation means that several systems can be operated by just one operator.

With the packaging machine from Theegarten-Pactec, the confectionery manufacturer from Malaysia has once again opted for a long-term investment. The company is already successfully using an EW7 version from the 1990s to pack its lollipops. With the purchase of the new machine, the customer is expanding its capacities. The company, based in Kuala Lumpur, packs 350 products per minute on the new machine.
