The nominees for the Swiss Packaging Award 2021 have been announced. 24 packaging solutions in six categories and two special categories can hope to be honoured with the prestigious Swiss Packaging Award.
A total of 46 packaging solutions were submitted by 34 different participants. These included five entries for the Young Talent Award, where school pupils and students can present their packaging ideas.
The special award for the circular economy, which was organised for the first time, received 15 entries. The sustainability category was particularly well represented with 26 submissions and reflects the demands of the times: packaging companies are under enormous pressure to develop recyclable and reusable packaging, especially in the plastics sector.
With the Swiss Packaging Award the Swiss Packaging Institute honours outstanding achievements in the packaging industry every year. The aim of the competition is to showcase the creativity and innovative strength of the Swiss packaging industry.
Winners announced on 10 June. The Swiss Packaging Institute As the organiser of the competition, SVI hopes that the award ceremony can take place physically again this year.
