The winners of the Swiss Packaging Award 2025 have been announced. We present the winners of this year's awards.
This year's Swiss Packaging Award impressively demonstrated how versatile and innovative packaging solutions from Switzerland are. In the five competition categories of sustainability, marketing, design, convenience and technology/construction/machine systems, the jury honoured projects that combine material efficiency, functionality and brand strength in an exemplary manner.
In the sustainability category, the prize went to Säntis Packaging AG. The company impressed the jury with an injection moulded IML-S+ double chamber bucket, which reduces the weight from 12.8 to 8.8 grams and thus significantly reduces material consumption.
Innovations in marketing and design
The marketing prize was awarded to Körber Pharma Packaging Material for the „Daily Dose Stick Pack“, which makes it easier to take medication in a structured way. The design focussed on user-friendliness.
In the area of design, the Sample kit Snapfix/Edizio.liv through. The purist corrugated cardboard packaging from Aroma AG was convincing due to the combination of brand identity and functional presentation.
More convenience and technical precision
In the Convenience category, the jury honoured a new Sterile packaging from Medipack AG for surgical implants. It combines maximum safety with easy handling and is tailored to the special requirements of the operating theatre.
In the Technology/Design/Machine Systems division, the Bachmann Group with MAP trays, which have a capillary base. Inspired by nature, the solution replaces classic inserts and reduces the plastic content by up to 30 per cent.
Audience Award for Sprüngli
The Audience Award went to Pawi Packaging Schweiz AG for Confiserie Sprüngli's house assortment of pralines/truffles. The elaborately designed box with golden reliefs and a glimpse inside impressed consumers with its luxurious presentation.
