Global knowledge exchange

The „International Packaging Dialogue“ format brings together renowned packaging experts. From the new European regulations for food contact materials via the Creativity of French packaging design to insights into the Dealing with AI on the Japanese market - where knowledge is shared and discussed on a global level and new horizons are discovered.

For the fourth time in a row, swop and the „Home of Packaging“ platform are jointly organising the FMCG Pavilion. Here you can find packaging for the huge market of fast-moving consumer goods. Two particular focal points are solutions for everyday products and food and beverage packaging. The „FMCG Infinity Zone“ showcases bestsellers in terms of sustainability.

Under the name „Green Power“, the swop Around 150 suppliers of sustainable packaging solutions, such as biodegradable materials, recycled plastics, pulp moulding, reusable packaging, environmentally friendly printing materials and many more.

Innovative packaging designs and concepts

In view of the constantly changing FMCG market and changing consumer habits, how can you quickly gain the attention of consumers? In co-operation with swop, „Sivapack Studio“ pools the strengths of designers to present current successful packaging designs and forward-looking packaging concepts. All this is available in the special „Packaging Design and Marketing“ area“.

Another highlight is the „AI Drives the Future“ forum. The focus here is on the impact of artificial intelligence on global trends in packaging development from a marketing and design perspective.

In the „Smart Packaging & Personalised Packaging Equipment Zone“, visitors can experience Automated production systems to reduce costs and increase efficiency. Around 300 suppliers of packaging machines and systems are represented here. In addition, there is a special segment on ready meals and packaging for fresh food, in which advanced technologies for extending shelf life are presented.

On the swop the SAVE FOOD initiative of Messe Düsseldorf and interpack will not only draw attention to the reduction of food loss and waste, but also emphasise the importance of sustainable design for this purpose. For the first time, the SAVE FOOD DESIGN and SUSTAINABILITY DESIGN AWARD will be presented among the exhibitors, to recognise innovative solutions in these areas.
