Packaging machine manufacturer Syntegon is selling its property in Waiblingen to Stihl and moving its production and administration to Fellbach and Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt by the end of 2025. The aim is to set the course for further growth.

Syntegon is giving up its previous headquarters in Waiblingen and relocating central company functions and production to new locations. The company has announced that the property on Stuttgarter Strasse has been sold to Andreas Stihl AG & Co. KG. In return, a focussed pharmaceutical site in Fellbach and a new administration building in Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt will be created, two modern locations which, according to Syntegon, will be better tailored to the requirements of the market in future.

The sale of the property is part of a larger growth strategy. The Pharma Solid division is set to relocate to Fellbach in the second half of 2025. Syntegon is building a new production centre there, which will create additional production capacity and offer an optimised working environment. The new facility is specifically designed to meet the needs of the pharmaceutical industry.

The central administration is also moving: In the third quarter of 2025, Syntegon will move into a newly constructed office building in Stuttgart's Bad Cannstatt district. According to the company, the building is conveniently located near Stuttgart's main railway station and airport and will offer modern working conditions for the company's central functions. As a so-called Business Excellence Centre, it is intended to support the global expansion of the Syntegon Group.
