Syntegon Technology is the new name of the former packaging division ‚Bosch Packaging Technology‘ from the Bosch Group. Today, the company from the process and packaging industry presented itself with a new name at the company headquarters in Waiblingen.
According to the company, Syntegon Technology is focussing on intelligent and sustainable technologies for the pharmaceutical and food industries. The company intends to pay particular attention to expanding its range of services in the future. Syntegon Technology employs 6,100 employees at over 30 locations worldwide and in 2019 has a Annual turnover of 1.3 billion euros generated.
In July 2019, Bosch announced the sale of its packaging division to a newly founded company, which will be managed by the investment company CVC Capital Partners will be managed by the company. The sales process and the complete independence of the company were finalised as planned at the turn of the year.
Stable business development
As planned, the sale process for Bosch Packaging Technology was completed on 2 January 2020. In June 2018, Bosch announced its intention to sell its packaging division and found a buyer a year later in CVC Capital Partners (CVC).

A new corporate brand has been developed over the past few months. The name Syntegon stands for synergy, technology and future-orientation. The new corporate colour Green emphasises the importance of sustainability and health. The square in the redesigned logo symbolises the Product protection through packaging technology.
All employees will celebrate the launch as an independent company together with the management today as part of a worldwide live broadcast from the company headquarters in Waiblingen and subsequent events at the individual locations. Syntegon Technology will also be informing its business partners about the changes today.

The new independence should enable Syntegon Technology to become even more flexible.
