Faller Packaging has taken over the real estate of the former All4Labels plant in Gebesee, Thuringia. The new site is intended to expand the production of folding cartons and leaflets, enabling Faller Packaging to respond to growth in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sector.
Faller Packaging the acquisition of the former plant from All4Labels in Gebesee was finalised. The property is in future as a production site for folding cartons and leaflets utilised. With the takeover, Faller Packaging intends to expand its capacities and meet the increasing demand in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sector. CEO Dagmar Schmidt emphasised that the new site was strategically important, as it was not possible to create sufficient capacity at the existing sites in the necessary time. „This location offers us the opportunity, to act quickly and respond to rising demand“, explained Schmidt.
All4Labels closed the plant in the third quarter of 2024 after the product portfolio was transferred to other plants. The takeover by Faller Packaging opens up New opportunities for the region, as modern buildings and infrastructure will be retained and new jobs may be created. The location in Thuringia, close to important pharmaceutical sites, also offers strategic advantages for the company. The Production to start in spring 2025.
With this step Faller Packaging strengthens its market position and is responding to the growing demand for sustainable packaging solutions in the pharmaceutical industry.
