Since the coronavirus pandemic at the latest E-commerce is here to stay and numerous shipping parcels have reached German households. Figures from the German Parcel and Express Logistics Association (BIEK) show that 4.51 million parcel, express and courier shipments were sent in 2021. With this amount of goods being shipped, there are also Challenges for different players along the value chain to.
To ensure that the products arrive safely at their destination, the Packaging is particularly important. And surveys show that consumer awareness has changed: Packaging that is too large reflects badly on brands and retailers, as does damaged packaging.
