Products labelled in this way can offer several advantages. For example Human error reduced to avoid medication mix-ups, enable faster stock checks and improve inventory management, which can reduce the error rate to almost zero. Together with Becton Dickinson, the company organised a workshop entitled „Transforming Pharma Fill/Finish Processes with RFID-enabled Pre-Fillable Syringes“ at the trade fair.
„The pharmaceutical sector is crucial for all of us and our solutions play a key role in ensuring patient safety and optimised packaging and labelling processes. RFID technology can bring countless benefits to the pharmaceutical industry. Supply chain visibility and inventory management help reduce waste, while NFC contributes greatly to brand protection and patient compliance. In combination with our labelling materials, which are tested and proven in typical pharmaceutical applications, we bring unique solutions to the market. These are key factors that increase patient safety and we look forward to showcasing these technologies at Pharmapack.“
