The winners of the Swiss Packaging Award 2021 have been announced and with them the best packaging in Switzerland: nine companies were honoured with the Swiss Packaging Award in Bern for their packaging solutions. The Swiss Packaging Institute SVI organised the competition for the 52nd time.
A total of 46 packaging solutions were submitted by 34 different participants, including five entries for the Young Talent Award, where school pupils and students can present their packaging ideas. The special prize for the circular economy was awarded for the first time recorded 15 submissions. The sustainability category was particularly well represented with 26 submissions.

The winners of the Swiss Packaging Award qualify automatically for participation in the World Star Award.

With the Swiss Packaging Award the packaging-neutral umbrella organisation of the Swiss packaging industry honours outstanding achievements in the packaging industry every year. Companies can enter their packaging solutions in the Categories Sustainability, Convenience, Design, Marketing, Technology and Construction submit. Up to three packaging solutions will be nominated per category, one of which will be chosen as the winner. Packaging of all materials is eligible for the competition. The focus is on promoting and honouring holistic packaging solutions, regardless of the packaging material.
