Der Grüne Punkt has appointed Eline Stiphout as its new Head of Renewing with effect from 1 May. In her new role, the former CEO of the insolvent Dutch recycler Stiphout Plastics will assume strategic and commercial responsibility for the mechanical recycling business.
A particular focus of her work will be on the Further development of the Hörstel and Eisfeld sites and the Italian production facilities. Eline Stiphout also heads a multidisciplinary team that works closely together to further strengthen the value chain in the recycling sector.
With a Master's degree in Strategic Management, she has many years of expertise in the field of plastics recycling and has held various management positions along the entire process chain from collection and sorting through to recycling. In future, a particular focus of her work will be on Development of new, customer-orientated products based on high-quality recyclates made from polypropylene (PP), high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and low-density polyethylene (LDPE). The company thus makes an important Contribution to the implementation of the European Packaging Ordinance, which consistently promotes the use of recycled materials in packaging and calls for a functioning circular economy.

The plants in Hörstel and Eisfeld, where premium recyclates of the Systalen brand are produced, as well as the sites in Italy are considered the central pillars of mechanical recycling within Der Grüne Punkt.
