An informative, lively and well-attended regional trade fair for the packaging industry in the north of Germany: this is how the trade fair organisers look back on Empack in Hamburg. There will be some changes for the trade fair next year. The location will change and it will be held in parallel not only with Logistics & Automation, but also with all about automation.
This year's Empack was a platform for the packaging community to exchange ideas in a „hotspot“ of logistics and goods trade. Exhibitors and visitors were satisfied with the trade fair and the concept.
„Empack is personal and compact. It focuses on the exchange between packaging experts in the north, with minimised effort for everyone involved. This is what both visitors and exhibitors appreciate.“

Trade visitor Tim Klüver, Waldemar Link GmbH Co. KG, sums it up: “For us as a regional company, Empack is the perfect opportunity to make new contacts without any stress and to present ourselves to a wider audience. inform about market trends. The relaxed atmosphere is a big plus.”
The concept of the trade fair will be retained if the 2025 trade fair in Hamburg takes place in a different setting to this year's event. Maria Soloveva: „We are changing location - to the central Hamburg exhibition centre. This allows us to put together an even more attractive package for both exhibitors and visitors - in a modern hall with excellent accessibility in the city centre and with an underground station directly in front of the hall.“
The temporal and spatial combination with Logistics & Automation remains unchanged. Both trade fairs offer an overview of the processes at the end of the industrial production value chain. What is new, however, is that the all about automation - regional trade fair for industrial automation will also take place at the same time as the two trade fairs next year. There are synergies here too.
Maria Soloveva: „Modern logistics and packaging are inconceivable without innovative automation solutions, which will be presented at all about automation. We are thus expanding the value chain and creating new connections. The packaging equipment manufacturers exhibiting at Empack, for example, will find contact with efficient suppliers at all about automation.“
All three trade fairs have the following in common: the modern and efficient concept with system stand construction, manageable stand sizes and the regional focus. And like all Easyfairs trade fairs, these three are characterised by the practical relevance, the personal atmosphere and an exciting and practice-oriented supporting programme out. The „fair organisers“ are optimistic and are planning for a total of at least 250 exhibitors.
The next Empack Hamburg 2025 will take place at the same time as Logistics & Automation Hamburg and all about automation Hamburg. from 3 to 4 June 2025 at the Hamburg Messe instead.
