This year's Trend Day Glass will take place in Cologne. Guests at the industry event for the container glass industry can expect a varied day at the congress, inspired by key speaker Jan Fleischhauer, exciting practical insights and entertaining presentations.
On 19 September, the Glass Packaging Action Forum, an initiative of the container glass industry in Germany, will be inviting visitors for the 17th time. Representatives and decision-makers from the bottling industry and trade to the Glass Trend Day. The Palais der Flora in the botanical gardens in Cologne provides a magnificent setting for the industry event, which promises a mix of informative presentations and exciting practical insights from the food and beverage industry.
Former „Spiegel“ editor and current „Focus“ columnist Jan Fleischhauer will give this year's keynote speech as an astute observer and will look at current political and social developments. Christian Rieck, Professor of Finance and Economic Theory, will explain the principle of coopetition, i.e. the interplay between competition and cooperation. And Alexander Schwarz, Director Consumer Panel Services GfK, analyses the tension between consumer budgets and the desire for more.
There will also be exciting practical insights this year: Mario Fürst, founder and CEO of Kloster Kitchen, will show how Old knowledge rethought and can be made a success. Wolfgang Schötz, Head of Sustainability Management and Pia Munschek-Jung, Head of Corporate Communications at Krombacher Brauerei, will report on the company's sustainability activities. Finally, Felicitas von Heinz, Managing Director of Nabio at NABA Feinkost, will show how a family business Organic in a glass redefined.

The event is rounded off by the presentation of the "Product innovation in glass". For the eleventh time, the industry award honours innovative new products packaged in glass from the food and beverage industry.
