An agreement between Unione Italiana Vini (UIV) and Ipack Ima paves the way for Bevertech, a trade fair focussing on the liquid food and beverage industry. The premiere will take place in 2026 alongside Simei and is intended to promote technological innovation and sustainability.
At Simei 2024, a leading trade fair for winemaking and bottling, the Unione Italiana Vini (UIV) and Ipack Ima have agreed a strategic partnership. The aim is to organise a new trade fair, Bevertech, which is dedicated exclusively to the liquid food and beverage industry. Bevertech will take place alongside Simei for the first time in 2026 and will appeal to an international audience.
The new trade fair will Technological innovations, sustainability and internationality to the centre of attention. It complements Simei, which focuses on wine, spirits, oils and beer, and expands the range to include packaging, processing and material technologies for a variety of liquid products such as soft drinks, juices, dairy products and sauces.

The Strong global growth in the liquid food and beverage industry. According to forecasts, production will reach a volume of 1,600 billion euros by the end of 2024, with annual growth of 4.7 per cent. The demand for packaging and processing machinery is also increasing, with an estimated market value of 23 billion euros for 2024. With Bevertech, UIV and Ipack Ima are creating a platform that strengthens the innovative power of the industry and promotes global exchange.
