At this year's FachPack, the stand of TRAPO AG, partner for industrial automation in the packaging industry, is all about driverless transport systems and safe cooperation between humans and robots.
Equipped with an HRC robot, the TRAPO Transport Shuttle fulfils various requirements of the packaging industry in a single system: conveying, palletising, depalletising and layer formation. The robot works as an additional hand for the human colleague. The advantages: maximum flexibility of internal material flows.
The TRAPO Transport Shuttle (TTS series) and TRAPO Warehouse Shuttle (TWS series) are used in combination and communicate as a link between production and the high-bay warehouse. At FachPack, the Transport Shuttle will be palletising, depalletising and forming layers live at Stand 3-205 in Hall 3.
In practical use of the HRC robot, grippers and employees' hands can touch each other safely and work side by side and with each other while processing workpieces. Once it arrives at the high-bay warehouse, the warehouse shuttle takes the parcels from the TTS and stores them using the TRAPO Warehouse Lift (TWL) on or off.
Customised and fully automated packaging lines
Transport systems of the TRAPO AG can be customised and are configured based on the conditions on site. The transport shuttle covers routes within production or incoming goods and transports loads of up to 2,000 kilograms - higher loads are possible on request. The transport system can be flexibly configured according to a modular principle: from size, energy transmission and storage to drive and navigation.
It is also possible to add customised superstructures such as lifting functions, conveyor systems or robots. At the high-bay warehouse, one or more warehouse shuttles pick up the crates, sacks or drums as required. The transport system travels three metres per second at an acceleration of 1.5 m/s2 and completes the cycle of extending, gripping and retracting in a maximum of three seconds.
Total line solutions for the packaging industry
TRAPO AG will also be demonstrating the flexibility and advantages of its compact high-performance palletising line, above all the HLP 6000, as well as cross-industry, modular overall system concepts as an animation.
