TriVision will be showcasing quality control systems for the food industry at IFFA 2019. The Danish supplier is presenting industrial vision systems with highly developed software. Among other things, they are used to detect incorrectly placed labels or damaged packaging.
The focus of the TriVision-The main focus of the company's presentation at the trade fair in Frankfurt is on the products „VisioPointer“ and „SmartInspector“. However, the company, which was founded in 1999, is also announcing software applications for Industry 4.0.

Compact vision system recognises damaged packaging
Measuring 80 x 80 x 125 centimetres, the compact VisioPointer-The system is used to process up to six products per second. Damage to packaging, incorrect labelling, incorrect dates and other quality errors. It can be used for Inspection tasks can be used in many areas of food production.

„SmartInspector“ is a solution developed in cooperation with the pork exporter „Danish Crown“ has been developed. Danish Crown was looking for an inspection solution to check product packaging for various meat products for the Chinese market. The company ships 24 full containers of these goods to the People's Republic every day.
With SmartInspector, TriVision has realised a quality control system that can check the information on the Chinese-language Packaging labels per OCR-character recognition with the production data. The quality of the labels is also checked.

Quality control saves expensive complaints

VisioPointer was integrated into existing production line

Among other things, this recognises soiling on the Sealing, quality defects and incorrect labelling at an early stage.
Arla Food found the compact dimensions of the VisioPointer useful. The system was implemented in an existing production plant. Changes to the Production line were not necessary. The cameras and the software are easy to use, writes TriVision, referring to 20 years of experience in the production of this technology.
