With the GMS 1000, the TVI Entwicklung & Produktion GmbH at the Anuga FoodTec in Cologne a new single-track portioning machine for the first time, which can be characterised by a high degree of digitalisation. This complements the company's portfolio of meat portioning machines in the mid-range industrial segment.
The new GMS 1000 portioning system achieves the best possible product yield with its precise 3D moulding and high pressing forces. At the same time, the machine offers a High degree of flexibility in raw product size. The portioner can place the end products in individual slices, shingle portions or stacks. On request, the machine can also divide the products differently in different areas, by weight or optimised for leftovers, depending on the customer's requirements.
„Compared to other portioning machines in the GMS series, the GMS 1000 software control is even simpler and more intuitive, the portioner is even more flexible when cutting and shingling and can process an even wider range of product sizes. In addition, the new portioner uses only modern servo technology and therefore neither hydraulics nor pneumatics, as well as the latest Multivac control technology. It is therefore future-proof, energy-saving and minimises the risk of product contamination.“
Florian Helfrich, Product Manager at TVI
The flexible portioner supports upstream and downstream processes and can be easily integrated into processing lines. It is operated in a similar way to other Multivac and TVI machines with easy-to-understand menu navigation. With digitalisation options such as Multivac Smart Services, Line Control and the myMultivac customer portal, the GMS 1000 offers many useful features. Tools to support the planning, monitoring and control of production processes and thus get the most out of the customer's production.
