Ulrich Reifenhäuser retires from operational management

After 40 years at the helm of the Reifenhäuser Group, Ulrich Reifenhäuser has retired from his active role as Managing Director. The company is thus honouring a formative entrepreneurial personality who has significantly influenced the mechanical engineering company and the plastics industry for decades.

Ulrich Reifenhäuser has decisively shaped the development of the Reifenhäuser Group over four decades. According to the company, the focus was not only on technological innovations, but also on a management style based on partnership that involved employees, customers and business partners alike. His work has sustainably strengthened the Group's position as an internationally active family business.

Continuity in the family business

Ulrich Reifenhäuser will remain associated with the Group even after his withdrawal from the operational business. In future, he will be a member of the Advisory Board and will continue to contribute his experience to strategic issues. This is intended to ensure the long-term continuity of the family business, it is said.

Operational responsibility remains with CEO Bernd Reifenhäuser. He will be supported by CDO Jan Karnath, who joined the operational business in 2024 and is the first member of the fourth generation of the Reifenhäuser family. Together with the management team, the aim is to continue on the current course and at the same time create room for new impetus.
