The coffee and tea start-up UniCaps has won the 2019 Brandenburg Innovation Award for the Food Industry. The jury was impressed by the idea of filling organic teas into compostable organic capsules for Nespresso®* and Nescafé®*-Dolce Gusto®* machines.

The Innovation Prize for the Food Industry is awarded annually by the Brandenburg Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. With this award, the state of Brandenburg recognises innovations by regional companies that promote the quality of the state's location and economic performance.
