In order for retailers to meet tight deadlines, it is all the more important to make intralogistics processes as lean as possible and to continue to optimise the flow of goods. This can be achieved with the help of holistic automation.
Novel all-in-one solutions consisting of robots, suitable peripheral devices and AI software are proving to be particularly efficient. Productivity increase and cost reduction included. One of these solutions will be presented live to trade fair visitors at the Universal Robots stand:
The smart picking solution automates material handling from goods receipt to the finished kit delivered to the individual production lines or work cells just in time. According to the company, Sina is the first fully automated system of its kind for efficient intralogistics. It can be implemented within four to five weeks and can then dispense up to 250 fully loaded containers per hour. The big advantage: all components are perfectly harmonised. This enables fully automated material provision, which reduces the error rate.
At the same time, the system enables complete tracking and tracing of the products. The spatial savings potential is up to 75 per cent. Sina contains a UR cobot that helps to automate intralogistics and thus further advance Industry 4.0. The impressive, six metre high Sina tower (detail in the picture) will be presented on site.
