The US company Valco Melton is celebrating its 70th anniversary these days. Founded in Ohio in 1952, the company now sells glue application and quality assurance systems to customers in almost 100 countries - many of them in the packaging industry.
In the beginning, Valco Melton only had 50 employees. Today, the company's brand and technical services extend to over 96 countries, with almost 600 employees worldwide. To offer its customers ever greater added value over the years, Valco Melton has acquired companies that accompany the market in order to expand its profile. Acquisitions include the takeover of the Spanish hot melt system manufacturer Melton, which led to a change in the company name, and the takeover of the Californian company GMS in 2014.
