The Marchesini Group has appointed Valerio Soli as the company's new CEO. Soli, born in Bologna in 1964, holds a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Bologna and has extensive knowledge of the industry. He worked for the Coesia Group for many years and was Chairman of Ipack Ima, a major trade fair for packaging and technology.
Maurizio Marchesini, CEO of the Marchesini Group, expressed confidence that Soli's international expertise and fresh perspective will contribute to further strengthening the company's values and growth. In 2024, the company recorded an increase in incoming orders and an export share of over 80 per cent, which forms a promising basis for 2025.
In his first statement, Valerio Soli emphasised that he shares the values of the Marchesini Group and is looking forward to working with the team. His inauguration was symbolically accompanied by a meeting with newly recruited young talents to emphasise the company's focus on the future.
