Varo, the Danish specialist for automation solutions, presents a very special technology with the Unwrapper: the fully automatic de-wrapping system removes stretch film from pallets in under a minute and without any human intervention.
The system detects each pallet with millimetre precision and cuts the stretch film cleanly without damaging the packed goods. The detached film can be removed fully automatically and transferred to the recycling cycle at the same time. This defoiling technology is designed to individually defoil even irregularly packed pallets up to a packing height of 2.7 metres. The defoiling performance and the universal application possibilities will be demonstrated at the trade fair.
The compact Varo technology can be integrated into practically all automation processes. Defoiling can be carried out at a capacity of up to 1,000 stretch-wrapped pallets per day. By using the unwrapper, previously unheard-of capacity can be created in the production, storage and logistics areas and the entire warehousing process can be significantly optimised. The system is designed for use with EURO/EPAL standard pallets up to 1,200 x 1,200 millimetres and works without compressed air.
