Keim Packaging has developed material-saving packaging for Vaude's Essentials. The shape of the hangers is derived from the Vaude logo and contributes to strong branding.
Instead of hanging accessories with cable ties, the southern German family business Vaude has opted for a slim solution made of brown cardboard, some of which has a integrated cardboard binder k-fix contains. The cardboard binder k-fix from the Swiss packaging agency Keim Packaging was developed to replace conventional plastic cable ties and blister packs with a sustainable cardboard solution.

When developing the structure, Keim Packaging orientated itself on the brand characteristics and derived a shape from the V of the logo that will become the new super symbol at the POS. At the same time, this shape enabled an extremely material-saving packaging solution. It works for the entire range of different Vaude essentials such as toiletry bags, purses, pack sacks and towels. The products are highly visible and can be viewed by the consumer without opening the packaging. The shape derived from the V is unique on the market and is intended to clearly differentiate the Vaude brand from its competitors.

Visual design
The individual packaging works for different products, as the product-specific information is placed on the label are. The entire packaging is thus economically and ecologically optimised. The label shows the product and the central USPs. The repetition effect of the packaging shape creates a highly distinctive presence at the POS.
