The packaging specialist Veritiv Operating Company has acquired the Southern Californian provider Packaging Solutions. The acquisition expands Veritiv's reach in the west of the USA and strengthens its position in the speciality packaging sector.
Veritiv Operating Company, an international provider of packaging, cleaning and printing solutions headquartered in Atlanta, has announced the acquisition of Packaging Solutions. The Southern California-based company provides customised packaging products and services and will complement Veritiv's distribution network in the region.
„This acquisition is a further investment in our leading distribution capabilities in speciality packaging,“ said Veritiv CEO Sal Abbate. „Packaging Solutions brings an established customer base in Southern California and strengthens our national platform by combining the strength and scale of Veritiv with the entrepreneurial spirit of a family-owned and operated business.“
John Tree, owner and CEO of Packaging Solutions, said the collaboration will allow his team to utilise Veritiv's existing infrastructure: „We will be able to tap into Veritiv's extensive sourcing and distribution network, as well as its expanded design and testing capabilities, to better serve our customers.“
