Leibinger will be showcasing the IQJET at Fachpack 2024. The labelling system won the German Design Award and is characterised by its long maintenance intervals, low power consumption and a smart ink management system.
Leibinger is setting new standards in industrial labelling with the IQJET. For controlling, this means savings over the entire product life cycle (TCO). The IQJET runs maintenance-free for five years with an intermittent pump - a world record that eliminates unplanned downtimes. Even after five years, the IQJET continues to work reliably until a planned maintenance window can be utilised. A Ecological and economical The system is based on a sophisticated concept that only requires the replacement of affected wearing parts. Expensive disposable modules, frequent maintenance intervals and inflexible maintenance times are a thing of the past.
The IQJET convinces with a Power consumption of just 36 watts and minimal solvent requirement, which puts it at the top of the most economical industrial printers in its class. Leibinger manufactures the ink itself and has equipped the IQJET with an advanced ink management system. This combination of excellence in technology and medium perfects the CIJ (Continuous Inkjet) process. In Leibinger printers, the ink does not dry out during production breaks and does not clog the lines. This is ensured by the automatic nozzle sealing technology. In addition, the smart ink management system in the IQJET always ensures Optimum viscosity and a constant ink temperature, regardless of the ambient temperatures. The IQJET integrates seamlessly into existing plant control systems thanks to numerous interfaces, including the standardised OPC UA for automation technology and PLC for industry.
