At IFFA 2019, VF Verpackungen GmbH from Sulzberg will be showcasing a particularly sustainable and easily recyclable film that can be used to produce new films from recycled material.
Just in time for IFFA 2019 VF Packaging GmbH launched the new development "Next Flex". These are Mono-polyolefin multilayer films (MPO), which are based on PE and PP. The Niederwieser Spa subsidiary will be showcasing the capabilities of Next Flex in a demonstration packaging process at the trade fair stand.
Next Flex offers the same product benefits as "Amilen"
Next Flex, as well as the products sold under the brand name "Amiles" products distributed by VF Verpackungen on the Eleven-layer co-extrusion technology. Next Flex is said to be particularly sustainable and easy to recycle. In a special process, these films can be combined with chemical recycling processes back into their original and preliminary products. This means they can then be used again as raw material for new food packaging.
According to the manufacturer, Next Flex otherwise offers the same product benefits as Amilen: Puncture resistance, barrier protection, sealability and heat resistance. The films achieve these properties with reduced film thickness. Users therefore save material.
