EMPACK 2025 in Dortmund is not just about innovations - beck packautomaten is celebrating a real anniversary: The family business is turning 65!

In an interview with packaging-journal editor Matthias Laux, Managing Director Beate Beck-Daharde looks back on the company's history - and at the same time provides an outlook for the future.

From its origins in textile packaging to today's variety of materials, beck packautomaten is now a provider of modern machines for film and paper. Sustainability is not an either-or issue: „For us, it's fifty-fifty,“ says Beck-Deharde, emphasising that both monofilms with PCR content and paper-based solutions play a role.

Finally, it gets personal with a sporting digression: Beate Beck-Deharde is a member of the supervisory board at VfB Stuttgart - and has high hopes for the DFB Cup final.
