At IFFA 2025, Multivac will present itself as a pacesetter in packaging technology. With a new trade fair stand, a clear digitalisation strategy and practical automation solutions, the focus is on the motto „Think connected“. CSO Dr Tobias Richter reports excellent customer feedback and a real innovation boost.
The focus is on networked production lines that are both more efficient and easier to operate - a decisive advantage in view of the global shortage of skilled labour. „Our systems significantly reduce the operating effort - an operator can now do much more than before,“ says Richter.
One highlight: the award-winning „Change articles on the fly“ solution, which enables flexible product changes without stops. The first AI solutions for quality control and process optimisation are also in use at the trade fair - with great potential for the future.
Multivac is also investing in global development resources, for example through a planned software centre in India. In addition, a new co-operation with the US company Provisor strengthens the transatlantic innovation course in the area of raw ham slicing.
With strong concepts, new partnerships and digital technologies, Multivac is sending a clear signal for the future of the packaging industry at IFFA.
