In our studio at FACHPACK 2024, we hosted four students from the fields of packaging technology and packaging development. They come from renowned universities in Munich, Hanover, Leipzig and Vienna and talk about their experiences during their studies and the challenges they face in the packaging industry. Winfried Batzke from the German Packaging Institute, which has organised the Students Day with and at the trade fair for the first time, will also be there. This offers students the opportunity to come into direct contact with companies from the industry and gain valuable insights into practice.

The students come from degree programmes including Packaging Technology (Munich University of Applied Sciences and Arts), Packaging Technology (Hanover University of Applied Sciences and Arts), Packaging Development and Design (HTWK Leipzig) and Packaging Technology and Sustainability (FH Campus Wien). Together, they will talk about topics such as sustainability, innovations in the packaging industry and the importance of networks for starting a career.
