
For measurements up to a wall thickness of 24 mm, Elektrophysik offers a portable and compact measuring device. MiniTest FH is suitable for production and quality laboratories and consists of a control and display unit and a sensor. Various probes can be connected to the device.
All connectable sensors work with the SIDSP method (sensor-integrated digital signal processing). The transmission of the already digitally processed measured values from the sensor to the evaluation unit ensures maximum accuracy. And thanks to the innovative AI-based quick calibration, the Zero calibration for each sensor at the touch of a button in less than ten seconds and ball diameter, thus increasing the accuracy of the measured values by 50 per cent.
For data transfer to a PC or directly into a CAQ system, MiniTest FH Various interfacesIndividual measured values and the entire statistics can be transferred via USB, RS-232C or Bluetooth. Even measurements on sharp edges, narrow diameters and complex geometries can be easily carried out with the MiniTest FH device. The measurement results are visualised thanks to the 4.3″ colour screen with a resolution of 800×480 pixels. The control unit also has an integrated rubber rim for protection and a better grip, as well as foldable stands.
The areas of application of the device are both in the Packaging industry for plastic containers and bottles for chemical substances, cleaning agents and lubricants, as well as in the area of food packaging and packaging for medical products. The wall thickness of glass packaging for a wide range of industries can also be easily determined with the device.
As part of quality control, the MiniTest FH can be used, for example, for the production of PET bottles by adjusting the wall thickness to the target specification, saving several tonnes of material per year lead.
