The demands on intralogistics are constantly increasing, especially when it comes to handling heavy goods. Walther Faltbox Group has therefore expanded its portfolio to include folding boxes with mountable feet. This innovation promises more efficient and ergonomic handling of load carriers in half-Euro pallet size.
The new feet on the folding boxes allow material handling equipment, such as forklift trucks and pallet trucks, to pick up the boxes quickly and safely. Despite this enhancement, the load carrier remains fully stackable and can be folded down compactly. These features make the boxes a practical solution for efficient transport processes, simplifying handling and reducing costs.
Application flexibility
The Walther Faltbox Group offers the foot modules in all three height variants of the folding boxes. Customers can choose between retrofitting and pre-assembly ex-works, which is advantageous for both existing and new logistics concepts. With a payload of up to 75 kilograms, the modules are also designed for the safe transport of heavier goods.

Sustainability and Labelling
Another advantage of the new folding boxes is their repairability: damaged feet can be replaced individually, which extends the service life of the containers and increases sustainability. Furthermore, large labelling areas offer the possibility of optimal marking, for instance with RFID in-mould labels that are integrated during the injection moulding process. These labels are durable and tamper-proof, ensuring reliable identification.
The new folding boxes have already proven themselves in daily logistics operations. The additional ground clearance makes handling heavy or frequently moved goods easier.
