Weber Food Technology has entered into a strategic partnership with Dero Groep in order to offer customers worldwide an even broader portfolio of solutions. In addition to technical solutions, this cooperation combines the experience and expertise of both companies for the benefit of customers in the food industry.

The Dero Groep is a Dutch company that specialises in various fields of expertise, including Robotics, cheese dairy systems, convenience machines and end-of-line machines. Dero Groep has built up a reputation in the field of automated cheese processing in particular and offers both individual solutions and integrated systems for production plants. This expertise perfectly complements the range of complete line solutions offered by Weber.

„Our customers will benefit significantly from this cooperation, as we will be able to offer them even more comprehensive solutions for processing and packaging their products in the future. As part of the collaboration, Dero Groep and Weber will jointly develop OEM products for handling, defoiling and dividing cheese for Weber.“

The fact that the partnership between the two family-run companies will bear fruit is demonstrated by the many successful customer projects that Weber and Dero Groep have already realised together in the past. „In a world where resources are becoming scarcer by the day, it makes sense not only for the mutual benefit of our companies, but above all for our customers, to join forces. This collaboration means providing added value and innovative solutions to meet the changing needs of our mutual customers,“ says Richard Bouma, Managing Director of Dero Joure.
