As Managing Director Operations at Weber Food Technology, Dr Michael Hausicke takes over responsibility for production, purchasing, quality management and customs/export.
Weber Food Technology is strengthening its management team with Dr Michael Hausicke, who will take over the position of Managing Director Operations from February 2025. This follows the expansion of the management team last year with Michael Brandt for the Technology division. Hausicke will be responsible for and further develop central areas such as production, purchasing, quality management and customs/export.
„These areas of the company are crucial to our profitability and competitiveness. Michael's goals will be to ensure our profitable and sustainable growth, increase the flexibility of our production sites and push ahead with digitalisation and automation opportunities.“
CEO Tobias Weber
Weber Food Technology is recognised as a leading provider in the processing and packaging of food. Hausicke emphasises quality assurance as one of his key priorities: „The quality aspect in all our solutions and services is particularly important to me - not least because quality is an essential building block of our company's success.“
Cross-location processes are intended to ensure the highest quality standards and set new benchmarks.
Expertise and many years of experience
Hausicke brings extensive experience from his many years at Weber. The industrial engineering graduate completed his doctorate on the topic of strategic technology substitution for production systems and has been with the company since 2014. In 2023, he took on the role of Chief Operations Officer (COO), which allowed him to gain in-depth insights into various areas of the company.
