Weber launches new construction project

Weber Food Technology GmbH is planning to expand its premises and staff. At the end of May, the company performed the symbolic ground-breaking ceremony for an expansion of the site in Wolfertschwenden. The additional space will be used for complete lines and create room for more employees.

With this construction project, Weber is strengthening the future viability of the site and creating even more space. more capacities for the continued growth of the family business. „With the site expansion in Wolfertschwenden, we are creating space for innovation,“ emphasises CEO Tobias Weber. „With the new spatial, technical and personnel possibilities, we will be able to respond even better to our customers' wishes in the future and offer them the best possible service. targeted development of customised, innovative solutions work.“

Almost one hundred employees work at the site, which was founded in 2011, on pioneering processing and packaging solutions for the food processing industry. The expansion of the Wolfertschwenden site will additional 1,600 square metres This includes a further assembly hall of approx. 900 square metres and a logistics area of approx. 700 square metres. The extension, which is being financed with an investment volume of just under four million euros, will primarily create Space for new complete lines. This means that even line solutions with a length of over thirty metres can be installed and put into operation in Wolfertschwenden.
