The Tettnang-based family business Wenglor Sensoric has received the Red Dot Award in the Product Design category for its inductive ring sensors.

With its inductive ring sensors, the Wenglor Sensoric Group has set new standards in reliable and precise ring sensor technology. Detection of small metal parts inside feed hoses set. These sensors combine innovative design with sensory precision. Their separable housing with a two-part coil enables quick and flexible mounting and dismounting of the sensor on the feed hose and thus solves a common problem in the industry, as the mounting process is made considerably easier.

Machine downtimes are also minimised when changing hoses or carrying out necessary repairs. The robust and compact design with the cable outlet in the direction of the hose also facilitates use in confined spaces, while the all-round visible LED display and intuitive plug & play connection ensure a high level of user-friendliness.

„We are delighted that the expert jury of the Red Dot Award has recognised the combination of attractive design and powerful technology of our inductive ring sensors. Our motivation was to develop ring sensors that are precisely tailored to the needs of the industry in order to optimise processes and make them smoother and more efficient.“
