Containers for flammable foodstuffs

At interpack in Düsseldorf, WERIT will be presenting volume-reducible stacking containers, Euronorm stacking crates for food and non-food as well as stacking crates with a U-edge.

Flammable or explosive materials are also sometimes handled in the food and beverage industry. To ensure absolute safety, Werit now has the POLYex-Food IBC container in its portfolio. We spoke to Jörg Schneider, Managing Partner, and Gerd Herhalt, Product Manager, about this.

Product safety is the top priority when packaging food and beverages. However, employees, buildings and equipment should also be protected from possible damage during processing. Werit therefore has a new product range in its portfolio for processing flammable materials in food and beverage filling.
