At this year's interpack, WERIT Kunststoffwerke from Altenkirchen will be showcasing tried-and-tested and new packaging and transport solutions. These are tailored to the needs of different industries. These include the new IBCs from the VARIOline and COMPACTline product studies as well as the new 3“ valve.
„With VARIOline and COMPACTline, which are currently in the product study process, we are launching a new product on the market. At the trade fair, we want to find out what the market needs and receive feedback and suggestions from customers and interested parties, which will then be incorporated into the further development processes,“ explains Volker Wiegmann, General Sales Manager Germany at WERIT.“
The Multi-chamber IBCs of the series VARIOline are to be realised with up to four inner containers to be equipped. There will be two sizes of inner containers with a capacity of 240 litres and 490 litres. These sizes can be freely combined, resulting in three variants. This makes it easy to transport multiple components or different media in one container and increases safety by dividing the container into up to four compartments. There are also plans to make this IBC craneable. It remains compatible with the other IBCs.
Small and compact
The study process also includes the small IBC of the COMPACTline with a capacity of 300 litres. It is compact, easily stackable and encased in a tubular frame on a pallet. The IBC meets the demand from areas in which the filling media are sensitive and need to be processed quickly (smaller containers). Filling media with a higher density can also be safely transported and stored in this IBC. The various filling openings can be selected and existing pump systems can be used.
At the trade fair, WERIT will also be demonstrating the new 3“ valve. Depending on the temperature and the filling medium, it guarantees up to 80 per cent faster emptying of highly viscous substances than previous valves.
