Morris Packaging LLC and UFlex Packaging Inc. have entered into a strategic partnership in the field of woven bags. The aim of the partnership is to offer innovative and sustainable packaging solutions for sectors such as pet food, horticulture and industry.

Morris Packaging and UFlex intend to combine their respective strengths to further develop the flexible packaging market in the USA. According to the companies, the partnership combines the customer-centric focus and local presence of Morris with the technological expertise and global reach of UFlex. The aim is to bring new, sustainable woven bag solutions to market more quickly.

Jim Bob Morris, CEO, President and owner of Morris Packaging, said: „This partnership allows us to pool resources, diversify our product portfolio and create additional capacity to better serve the market.“ Jeevaraj Gopal Pillai, President - Flexible Packaging and New Product Development at UFlex Limited, also emphasised that the partnership will expand the US woven sack business and offer customers greater product choice and security of supply in the future.

Morris Packaging is headquartered in Bloomington, Illinois, with production sites in Minnesota, Missouri and Kentucky. The company is recognised as a pioneer in the use of recycled materials and energy-efficient production processes. UFlex, India's largest multinational packaging group, has been active in the market since 1985 and today supplies numerous global brands with flexible packaging solutions.
