The beauty trade fair Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna returns to the BolognaFiere exhibition centre from 26 to 29 March 2026. Organiser BolognaFiere Cosmoprof is once again positioning the fair as an international platform for the entire beauty value chain – from raw materials and production to packaging and distribution. A central component is the Cosmopack section, which showcases innovations along the cosmetic supply chain.

The event is divided into three areas: Cosmopack for the industrial value chain, Cosmo Perfumery & Cosmetics for brands and distribution, and Cosmo Hair & Nail & Beauty Salon for the professional salon market. According to the organiser, this is intended to provide a comprehensive overview of research, development, production, and distribution in the global cosmetics industry.

Cosmopack as an innovation platform for packaging and production

With over 600 companies from 37 countries, Cosmopack is considered the central meeting point for the international cosmetics supply chain. The offerings range from raw materials and processing technologies to packaging solutions and full-service production. Technology, sustainability, and performance are at the heart of the presented solutions.

A dedicated machinery section in Hall 19 brings together over 90 companies showcasing automation, robotics, and systems for processing, packaging, quality control, inspection, and traceability. Additionally, supply chain companies from country pavilions, such as South Korea, India, and Poland, will also be represented there.

Primary and secondary packaging solutions, as well as private label and contract manufacturing services, are located in several halls of the exhibition centre and, according to the organiser, cover the entire production process of the industry.

Trends in the beauty market and new technologies

The Cosmo Perfumery & Cosmetics sector, with over 1,300 companies from 56 countries, forms the commercial heart of the trade fair and is aimed particularly at international brands and distribution partners. The exhibition is intended to reflect developments in the global beauty market, such as new go-to-market strategies, product positioning, and changing competitive dynamics.

Marchesini showcases integrated packaging line and Digital Product Passport

The Marchesini Group Beauty is using Cosmopack 2026 to showcase its latest technologies for production and packaging processes in the cosmetics industry. The focus is on a complete turnkey line for the packaging of perfume products, which will be presented at stand A9 in Hall 19.

The line includes, among other things, robotic systems for handling and feeding bottles and caps, a filling and capping machine, and solutions for cartoning and overwrapping. The system is supplemented by automated palletising, including a traceability solution.

This is based on software from Sea Vision and is part of a Digital Product Passport concept. According to the company, a unique identifier allows for the continuous tracking of every product along the entire supply chain. This is intended to help ensure authenticity and quality, counter counterfeiting, and support regulatory requirements.

In addition to the line, the company is showcasing further solutions, including turbo-emulsifiers, filling and capping machines for various formats, and AI-based systems for quality control.
