The Sanner Group has appointed Dirk Scholz as its new Chief Financial Officer. The manager took up his position on 2 May 2026. The company, which focuses on healthcare packaging and CDMO services, sees this as a further step in supporting its international growth trajectory.

According to Sanner, Dirk Scholz has over 30 years of experience in finance and corporate management. Most recently, he worked in international industrial and private equity-backed companies. CEO Stefan Verheyden stated that Scholz will support the company in „further driving our international growth and positioning Sanner as the world's leading provider of custom solutions and services in the fields of medical technology, diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, and consumer healthcare.“.

Focus on growth and MedTech CDMO

Scholz stated on joining: „I am very pleased to become part of such an agile and growth-oriented company whose mission is to offer customers worldwide the best possible CDMO services, reducing complexity and enabling closer collaboration between development and manufacturing.“ He also pointed to the combination of expertise in moisture management, injection moulding, and packaging and device development as a basis for new business potential.

For several years, Sanner has increasingly developed from a classic packaging manufacturer into a provider of integrated development and manufacturing services for the medical technology sector. The company produces, among other things, desiccant closures, effervescent tablet packaging, and custom solutions for pharmaceutical and diagnostic applications.

Predecessor leaves company

Scholz succeeds Henrik Bøggild, who is leaving the company after three and a half years. According to Sanner, Bøggild oversaw important investments and expansions, including the acquisitions of Springboard and Gilero, as well as the expansion of production capacities in Germany and the USA.
