At this year's SPS IPC Drives, Pilz will be demonstrating how man and machine can work together even more closely and therefore more productively and ergonomically thanks to dynamic safety solutions.
Visitors to the stand will be able to experience how, for example, humans and robots can work together without a safety fence thanks to dynamic safety solutions: The position of the human being is synchronised within a Human-robot collaboration are reliably detected by external 2D and 3D sensors from Pilz that are not integrated in the robot. Depending on the application, different technologies or their combination ensure safety.
One of the world firsts is the PSS67 PLC control system, the first safe PLC control with IP67 protection. The fully encapsulated module electronics make this control unit particularly robust mechanically. It can be mounted directly on the machine and requires very little space. This significantly reduces the amount of cabling required compared to control cabinet-based systems and increases flexibility when implementing modular system architectures.
The company will also be presenting its new PSENmat safety mat. A world first here is the Integrated location detection, which enables new machine operating concepts.
