30 years of AstroNova in Germany

AstroNova GmbH celebrates its 30th anniversary in Germany. The American parent company is also celebrating its 50th anniversary.

AstroNova GmbH, the European headquarters of AstroNova Inc. (RI, USA), responsible for sales and service for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), is celebrating its 30th anniversary in Germany. The American parent company is also celebrating its 50th anniversary.

The success story began in the USA in 1969, when the Founder Albert Ondis, The first recorder was patented and the company Atlan-Tool was founded. In 1984 the company was renamed Astro-Med and a short time later the European site in Rodgau was founded 30 years ago.

Since changing its name again in 2016, the technology company AstroNova, with its three business units Product Identification, Test & Measurement and Aerospace, has become a global player in the aerospace industry. 12 Locations has grown steadily. Particularly in the Test & Measurement and Product Identification divisions, known by the brand names QuickLabel and TrojanLabel, the location in Hesse plays a significant role in the overall development of the company.

At this year's trade fairs in autumn, LabelExpo from 24 - 27 September (Stand 9C05) and Specialist pack from 24 - 26 September (Booth 4-335), further revolutionary solutions for the packaging and labelling industry will be presented.
