IST Metz has won a Red Dot Award in the „Brands & Communication Design“ category with its „X-Press-U“ packaging concept. The prize for the solution, which according to the UV specialist and system manufacturer combines printing technology and enjoyment, will be awarded in Berlin on 1 November 2019.
The concept, which was honoured by the international Red Dot Award jury, combines various UV printing and printing processes. Finishing techniques. Symbiosis of coffee and chocolates
What is special about the concept of IST Metz was to achieve a symbiosis of coffee and chocolates with the Persona. Packaging was developed for both coffee pastilles and chocolates with matching flavours. As Recognition element IST Metz has developed recyclable Paper banderoles designed. They were also printed and finished there using UV technology.
According to its own information, IST Metz received the Red Dot Award because of the high design quality and the creative performance of the Packaging concept. A total of 8,697 international competition entries in all categories of the Design Award were assessed by the jury.
